Services
With Allen's diversified product base in both the machine tool and
finishing equipment product lines, along with the ability to design and
manufacture a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices and equipment, Allen
offers services in many related areas. The following is a summary of those
services.
Finishing Processing
The Harper laboratory and the Turbo-Finish,
Inc. laboratory are equipped with a number of machines allowing Allen to offer
contract deburring and finishing for it's customers. the Turbo-Finish lab can
process parts up to 20" in diameter. The Harper lab has three
Harperizers, the Mini, a 2HA-12 and a 2HA-18 machine.
Engineering
Allen design engineers are equipped with Auto-Cad 2002
software and the experience to offer engineering service for most
any electro-mechanical product. For large projects Allen has partnered with a
local engineering company allowing effective response to it's customers schedule
demands.
Rebuilding and Remanufacturing
Allen offers complete rebuilding and remanufacturing services
for all of it's Machine Tools. These include Allen Drilling Machines,
Cleereman Drilling-Milling and Boring Machines, Custom Automated Systems,
Harperizers, Harper Conveyor Buffing Machines,
Nichols Milling Machines and Norton Surface Grinding Machines.
Panel Building
As a machine tool manufacturer Allen offers its electrical panel building
capabilities on a contract basis. Allen's master electrician has over 20 years
experience in building and "debugging" complex electrical control
panels.
Machining
Allen specializes in contract machining of fairly large parts. Including
Allen's two Bullard 60" Vertical Turret Lathes - one manual and one
CNC. Also a Cincinnati 10HC Horizontal Machining Center having a 100"
table and dual indexers, and a smaller Horizontal Machining Center having a 180
degree index dual fixtures and a 360 degree infinite indexer.
