variety of features and options. From the 2 drum "Gem"
Harperizer having a machine capacity of 3.4 liters up to the 4 drum model
4HE-18 Harperizer having a machine capacity of 316 liters.

Allen is the manufacturing partner of Turbo-Finish Corporation.
Turbo Abrasive Machining (TAM) is a revolutionary new free abrasive
machining technology. The process makes it possible to automate deburr
and final finish operations in applications where part size and shape
considerations have precluded the use of other mechanical finishing
processes.
- Rotary Buffing Machines
Conveyor Buffing Machines
The Harper V-5 Continuous and intermittent conveyor type buffing machines
are an economical way to buff, brush and polish production parts. Conveyors
can have from 17 to 48 carriages with each carriage having up to three work
spindles. The work spindles can be equipped three different ways. Either fixed
for parts that need no manipulation, with "tail waggers" to
manipulate odd shaped parts such as wrenches, or with low angle fixtures to
constantly rotate parts as they travel such as door knobs.
Allen Drilling Machines
Since 1904 Allen has manufactured quality heavy duty upright drilling and
tapping machines.
Custom Automated Systems
The Chas. G. Allen Co. has the required engineering,
manufacturing, assembly and service skills to manufacture a wide variety of
Custom Automated Systems. Included are Standard automatic machines with
special fixtures and tooling, Station type machines, Automatic shuttle type
machines and Rotary transfer machines.
Nichols Milling Machines
In 1989 Allen purchased the assets of the Nichols Milling
Machine product lines. Today we still have the ability to manufacture new
machines but also have the technical and service support to rebuild,
remanufacture and provide replacement parts for all of the existing machines.
The Nichols product line includes Standard & Rise and Fall Twin Mills,
Manual horizontal knee type mills - (Standard Model and Tool Room Model),
Semi-Automatic and Production Milling Machines with tables up to 36".
Norton Surface Grinding Machines
In1986 Allen purchased the assets of the Norton Surface
Grinding product lines. There still is a customer base that takes advantage of
Allen's rebuilding and
remanufacturing skills. Norton machines are still a favorite of skilled tool
and die makers as they are easy to set up and run. Replacement parts are available for this product line.
Contract Manufacturing
As a machine tool manufacturer Allen is well suited to serve companies looking to outsource electro-mechanical products, sub
assemblies, electrical control panels or machining of large parts. We can
manufacture to your design or provide engineering services to meet your needs.
Some of the products Allen has manufactured over the years include Band Saw
Welding Machines, Silicon Ribbon Furnaces, a Light Bulb Frost Line, High Speed
Robots and Hot Stamp presses to name a few.
