Allen has been a contract machining facility for over 25 years. If you are looking for a source to machine your components give Allen a call. The following facilities list should give you an idea of our capabilities.

FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT

MACHINING CENTERS

(1) Cincinnati Model 10HC Horizontal - 100" X by 34" Y having (2) 30" square rotary tables.

(1) DeVlieg Model 3K48 Horizontal Jig Mill - 48" X by 36" Y having (1) DeVlieg 26" rotary table and a Dynapath 20   CNC control.

(1) Yang Model SMH 450 Horizontal - 21" X by 21" Y having dual fixtures on a 90 degree indexer.

VERTICAL TURRET LATHES

(1) Bullard - Vertical Turret Lathe - 60" Swing - CNC having Allen Bradley controls, threading and contouring capabilities.

(1) Bullard - Vertical Turret Lathe - 60" Swing - Manually operated having a side head and digital read-out.

LATHES

(1) Jones & Lamson Model TNC-A Bar Machine - CNC with automatic bar feed - 3" diameter - 24 " between centers.

(1) Jones & Lamson Model TNC-A Chucker - CNC  - 14" Swing over bed.

(1) HES Chucker - CNC with 5' between centers - 15" chuck - 12" swing over saddle - 21" swing over the bed.

(3) Monarch Engine Lathes - 10" swing - 54" between centers.

(1) Warner & Swasey Model M3400 Turret Lathe - bar machine - 2 1/2" diameter bar maximum.

(1) Jones & Lamson Model 7A Universal Turret Lathe - 15" swing.

GRINDING MACHINES

(1) Cincinnati O. D. Grinder - 10" O.D. - 72" between centers

(1) Norton O.D. Grinder - 10" O.D. - 36" between centers.

(1) Allen 8 x 24" Model S-3 hydraulic surface grinding machine - bottom of wheel to top of chuck is 11"

(1) Jones & Lamson Model TG1245 Thread Grinder - 12" Maximim O.D. - 45" between centers.

MILLING MACHINES

(1) Kearney & Trecker Model 310 - 12 x 36" table.

(1) Bridgeport Series 1 with 2 H.P. - Digital Read-Out - 9 x 24" table - "Prototrac" control.

(1) Bridgeport Series 1 with 2 H.P. - Digital Read-Out - 9 x 36" table - remanufactured in 1996.

(1) Universal Boring Mill - 36" Horizontal (x) - 24" Vertical (y).

(1) Pratt & Whitney Thread Miller - 4 1/2" maximum diameter - 36" between centers.

DRILLING MACHINES

(1) American Radial Drill - 9" column x 3' arm.

(1) American Radial Drill - 11" column x 3' arm.

SAWS

(1) Do All Model DBW-15 Contour Machine band was with 20" throat.

(1) Do All Model 16-3 "CountourMatic" band saw with 16" throat.

(1) Do All Power Cut-Off Saw - 10" diameter stock maximum.

(1) Racine Power Hack Saw - 14" blade.

BROACHING

(1) LaPointe I.D. Keyway Broach - 3/4" key maximum.

HONING

(2) Sunnen Model 1800 I.D. Hones - manual machines - Maximum I.D. is 2 1/2".

ASSEMBLY AREA

3000 square feet of main assembly floor space.

18,000 square feet of secondary assembly floor space.

(3) Five-Ton overhead cranes.

2 H.P. ALLEN drilling unit mounted on swing arm covers 12' radius over the main assembly floor.

Industrial Control Panel assembly room with a panel drilling and tapping machine - 600 square feet - component storage.

(4) Arbor Presses, Miscellaneous belt sanders.

3 room air spray Divilbis paint system for various paint types. Spray room is 10' x 12' x 8' high.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

(1) Brown & Sharp CMM - 14 x 16 x 12".

42" x 72" Granite Surface Plate.

Brinnell and Rockwell hardness testers.

Gages certified externally for use in calibrating measuring devices (tracebility).

Computerized gage and measuring device calibration system, calibration records.

Records of inspection, and deviation and corrective action reports.

Metallurgical Microscope.
