Finishing Machines
Through the acquisition of Harper Finishing Systems, Inc. and Allen's partnership with Turbo-Finish, Inc., Allen has the products and services to solve a wide variety of deburring and finishing problems.
Turbo Finish
Turbo Abrasive Machining (TAM) - is a revolutionary new free abrasive machining technology. The process makes it possible to simplify deburr and final finish operations in applications where part size and shape considerations have precluded the use of other mechanical finishing processes. The TAM process deburrs and develops needed edge and surface requirements in a dry abrasive environment.
Harperizers
Allen manufactures a wide variety of Harperizing Machines. From the smaller Gem Harperizer and Mini Harperizer up to the 18" Harperizers having a total machine drum capacity of 11.2 cubic feet and some machines with forces up to 25 G's. This offers Allen many opportunities to meet customers deburring and finishing needs.

Conveyor Buffing Machines
The Harper V-5 Continuous and intermittent conveyor type buffing machines are an economical way to buff, brush and polish production parts. Conveyors can have from 17 to 48 carriages with each carriage having up to three work spindles. The work spindles can be equipped three different ways. Either fixed for parts that need no manipulation, with "tail waggers" to manipulate odd shaped parts such as wrenches, or with low angle fixtures to constantly rotate parts as they travel such as door knobs.
Special Applications
As a manufacturer of Custom Automated Systems, Allen has the ability to offer buffing equipment other than the standard Rotary and Conveyor type machines. Also, Harper has manufactured many Sheet Polishing Machines for the architectural metals industry.
